We currently are looking for

Engineer New Technology Development (f/m)


The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new methods, instruments and technologies
for function-centered identification and isolation of antibodies.

Key accountabilities include:

Preparation of reports and scientific presentations, staff training on the new analytical instruments, preparation of standard operation procedure protocols, overseeing equipment use and maintenance.  

Required Qualification:

  • Ba or MSc in Electrical or Optical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience working with robotics, microscopy systems, lasers and high-speed imaging.
  • Profound expertise in programming in LabVIEW and FPGA-based controllers.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and instruments prototype development.
  • Experience with custom optical systems development, lasers control and PMT signal detection.
  • Experience with microfluidics systems and mechanical engineering (CAD-design, machining) is an asset.
  • Advanced image analysis knowledge is an asset.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work under time pressure in a commercial company environment.
  • English knowledge is essential.
